The second fan of my evga 2080 ti black edition gave up the gost. I ordered the a replacement fan matching the part number from my original part. Arrived yesterday and replaced it. Run a few games both fans were ramping up to 3500 rpm.

All good till now. Noticed today after a couple of hours of using my pc that the lights of the card didn't light up. Therefore I opened the evga precision app to enable them again but nothing. Then I started fiddling around and noticed that when I change the fan speed of either fan or both together the fans won't move. I adjusted the curves too, nothing. Opened Nvidia app and chose manual fan control, nothing. I restarted multiple times, tried first with the Nvidia app only. Then closed it and used evga precision. No change. Unistalled precision, run DDU twice, fresh drivers, tried to move the fans manually again nothing. Installed evga precision again because I know it's a piece of hot garbage and can mess up with fan curves. But still nothing. I fugired OK let's run a game and see if the fans will ramp up when temp hits 82c but still nothing. Card run OK 1820mhz. Removed the card tried removing and reconnecting all connectors. Tried with the old fan, tried with out any fans plugged in, tried with out the led plugged in, tried with each fan separately and repeated everything but still nothing.

I also happen to have updated my display drivers today but I don't know if those two relate. If anyone has any sort of ideas feel free to express them. I have spent 6,5hours and I can't afford a new one.

Ps I also checked the vbios with chatgpt and I have the latest. Running windows 10 64bit & NVIDIA Game Ready Driver is version 572.42, Rebar disabled/ not supported

I had a similar issue, rolling back to an older Nvidia driver (555.99 works for me) brought my fans back to life.
