New 4060 causing random PC shutdowns.

Go to solution Solved by BeastMaster30300,

Fixed the problem by turning off DOCP, so instead of 6400Mts im running 4800Mts.

I recently bought a Gigabyte 4060 OC, after 10-15 mins of gameplay(hogwards legacy) my pc is shutting down. The fans are either running at full spped or barely at all, im not sure if this is the root cause or not but I tried to fix it using MSI afterburner fan curve but that didnt seem to affect anything thing, The fans still felt like they were either runnning on 0 or 100%.

Another issue culd be the power connecters. I checked all connectors are properly clicked in, the GPU take one 8pin connectore and the PSU is a 1000W corsair gold.

I am new to this not, what else can I do to trouble shoot ?

(PS: my secure boot is off, i read somewhere that I need to turn this on, now sure how this can fix my GPU issue)

UPDATE :: Fixed the problem by turning off DOCP, so instead of 6400Mts im running 4800Mts.
