Hey, i have recently bought a new headset (hyperx cloud 2) now because I use a rode podmic for my setup i have a usb audio interface(steinberg ur 12), i also use this for my headset. But the problem is sometimes when I unplug my headset and then plug it back in to the interface, my pc dose wired stuff and then only one monitor works(running on my cpu because it 2nd monitor) . And amd software tells me a driver have crashed. Then i reboot and my screen is all stretched until i re install my gpu drivers (got a rx 6750xt ). All Lights on the gpu turns off when I plug my headset in and then i can reboot and my drivers are all f'ed up and then re install drivers to get it to work. But why dose my drivers basicly get wiped when I plug a headset in? Have recently been notecing that my mic some times gives me a shock when I am to close so mabey it is a bad audio interface? But that wouldent "delete my gpu drivers" or make my gpu 100% turn off until i reboot

I am not a qualified technician of any sort, but I can think of many ways to approach this situation. My first thoughts are to try to diagnose as many aspects as possible:

Are there other USB ports you can test for the same issue? It might be good to prove whether it depends on what USB hub you are plugged into or not. If you have a USB-C port, you could also try a USB-C Adapter and see if the failure still occurs when connected via USB-C. The main difference will be if you have USB ports in the front/top and the back of your PC, all your ports on the Front/Top of the PC are likely driven by the same internal hub, while any ports in the rear could be isolated to a different internal hub. This would tell you if it is specific to a physical region of your PC.

Do you have access to a USB power meter? It might be good to know if there is potentially a power related failure that then causes more issues that lead to your corrupt drivers.

Have you had any other files corrupt? Do you have any way to test if it corrupts files within the same folder area as the drivers or if it goes further than that? This could potentially tell you if there is a storage device failure involved as well.
