Jellyfin subtitle issues.

Update.

 

install extract subtitle plugin and run the scheduled task and optionally turn on subtitle extraction during media scan.

 

That pretty much prepares the subtitles to be played instantly in jellyfin.

 

For first time it might take while depending media size and hardware. But after adding new media will automatically extract subtitles as well so.. neat!

Hi there, i need help who has figured out jellyfin.

 

I'm currently running jellyfin on docker and runs smoothly except the subtitles.

 

Subtitles is taking ages to load and played sometimes i need to rewind video in order to keep up what has said.

 

I've tried live extraction off and on and it makes no difference also tried different hardware acceleration but still same result.

 

Anyone know what's up with this?

I'm jank tinkerer if it works then it works.
