im having trouble trying to update my bios without a cpu, i downloaded the latest stable bios update extracted and renamed it onto an usb and made sure to connect to the correct usb port but when i press the flash button it only lights up when being pressed, only the debug leg for the cpu lights up which is the reason im trying to update the bios in the first place

i have already tried multiple usbs but the problem persists

gpu : rx 6750 xt
ram : 2x16gb corsair vengeance 6000 mhz

Well, that rules out a defective USB drive.

Did you make sure that the USB drive was formatted in FAT32 and the only file was the BIOS file ?

Another issue I ran into a few times. If there is an utility to rename the BIOS file, it may rename it to a different name than specified in the manual. Just rename manually if this is the case.

Good luck !
