Hi!

So I have a new PC and currently on WiFi, will figure Ethernet out soon,

Anyway, so currently I have these motherboard antennas (its an Asrock B650 Steel Legend Motherboard).

I stay in a shared apartment and the router is outside in the lobby besides the room of my door. Signal wise its pretty good. But my WiFi connection just shuts off randomly, doesn't show disconnected on the taskbar but nothing loads or works. I pingtested google and it also says "Request Timed Out". To fix it, I just disable and enable WiFi and then it works.

Now, this same connection works fine on my phone, personal and work laptop. It also works when I connect to the WiFi on my Phone and pass the Hotspot to my PC. I've tried to connect 5 and 2.4 ghz bands, same thing. The time it takes to disconnect is random, could be 30 mins or could be 2 hours. It's usually like I am watching something and it stops, or I'm playing some game for hours and then I see that youtube ain't loading.

Things I've tried:

  1. Reinstall LAN/WAN drivers.

  2. Disable IPv6, I read this somewhere but didn't work.

  3. Use 1.1.1.1 DNS.

  4. Switch WiFi Bands.

  5. Change the power management thingy for my WiFI and Network

To add, it feels like when PC goes idle it disconnects but it also disconnects when im playing a single player game, so im not sure.
