Context: i live in Australia, i currently have 

Cpu: R7 5700x3d

Main: Msi b550 tomahawk 

Gpu: Msi 6800 non XT gaming X trio

 

My brother currently have

Cpu: r5 3600 non X

Main: msi b450 A-pro

Gpu: sapphire rx6600 non xt

 

Im planning to buy either a sapphire rx7900xt gpu or a combo that includes(r7 7800x3d + 32gb ddr5 ram + b650 main). Both options value at 1100 Australia dollar. Pls help me with deciding which upgrade is a better buy to upgrade and then pass the part(s) im replacing to my brother

Heard the used market is pretty good down under.

 

Might find a good deal on a 7700 or equivalent  and have more money for a GPU upgrade. And that does what you really need which is a platform upgrade. GPU can happen anytime

 

Not sure that the 7900x3d is really the best bang for the buck right now if you are playing higher settings 1440p.
