Cs2 mic not working

Hi my cs2 mic doesn’t work even after I tried everything I watched every video about the problem and it still doesn’t work i am wondering if anyone else had this problem and can help me

We need more info, like whether the mic works in Windows or not, and whether it's simply been chosen to be the audio device in the game's options.

Regardless, IDK about CS2 but in the previous versions of CS, comms were kinda muddy and overly compressed, low bitrate, etc. It's probably still like that, their codec sucks.

I'd suggest using Discord.

yes the mic works in discord and windows but in cs2 it doesn`t work i tried my headset mic and it doesn`t work
