Posted on Reddit to little avail so maybe you guys can help!

So essentially I have a Fosi Audio K5 Pro connected currently to my PC through its USB connection. It also has optical and coaxial. I use it to connect to my Denon AVR950 so I can either plug in my HD560S’ to the DAC, or just play through my receiver. I want to connect the DAC to my PS5 and Nintendo Switch Dock so I can also use both my receiver or headphones on it if I please.

The biggest issue I’m having is the lack of optical on my consoles, so I’m stuck with using just USB. I could connect the consoles through my HDMI pass through on my receiver, but it only accepts 4K 60Hz and I have a monitor (AW2725DF) that supports 1440p 120hz so I would be losing that feature on my PlayStation.  It might be worth mentioning that I’m using an HDMI switch for my consoles as there’s only one HDMI on my monitor.

I just want to be able to use my DAC and receiver on all my devices. I’ve looked into KVMs, USB switches, and usb to optical/coaxial adapters, but the KVMs that also have DisplayPort for my PC are generally around $120 CAD and I would rather not spend that much for a minute issue like this. I’m not sure what USB switches would work with three sources, that also provide power through USB.

Right now I’m stuck with plugging in my headphones into my controllers for console audio but there is a lot of hiss from them which is absent from my DAC.

If you guys have any guidance or suggestions please let me know!!
