The gigabyte has an IPS screen, whereas the MSI you linked is VA.

The m27qx also has better ratings for image quality than the alienware.

It's still 240hz. So it meets your FPS needs.

Even better than the alienware ?聽

The alienware has 600hdr, 95% dci-p3 and 100% srgb聽

the gigabyte has only 92% dci-p3聽

btw, the MSI is IPS聽

you literary can see in the image haha聽

If I may ask, why these two specific models?

What are your requirements, budget and region?

Maybe I can recommend something even better.

But I need more context to be of help.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Depending how well your conversion rate translates into actual price, your budget could be enough for an OLED monitor, which would be a considerable upgrade over even the best IPS monitors.

OLED monitors start around $600 in the US.

For lower budget I'd recommend the AOC Q27G2XMN. It's a VA monitor, but response times and black smearing are kept to a minimum. They're not that much worse than mid-range IPS monitors. But in exchange you get a good Vesa DisplayHDR 1000 experience for around $300.

For OLED monitors, closer to the top end of your budget, the LG聽27GR95QE-B,聽27GR95QL-B and聽27GS95QE-B are great choices. They should come in around $600-700.

You asked about HDR, and so far, most IPS monitors don't offer a good HDR experience, especially for cheap. The Cooler Master Tempest GP27U would be one, but it's often more expensive than OLED.
