do you have a microcenter nearby?

Budget (including currency): 1500-2000 USD

Country: United States

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming (currently~ Horizon Forbidden West) and Light Streaming

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Wanting to Upgrade in Mid May when local Microcenter opens up.

I have included my current PC and the parts. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VgZqgJ

And here’s what I threw together upgrading GPU, CPU, and Power Supply keeping parts from current build.  https://pcpartpicker.com/list/W7KnBL

Goal is 4k gaming at 60fps for Horizon Forbidden West

5700X3D or 5800X3D

Radeon 7900XT or RTX 4070 Ti Super

A 800-1000W Quality PSU

Keep the rest, and you don't actually need anything more. Maybe upgrading your peripherals, audio, TV?

The microcenter nearby (2ish hours) is the one opening in Charlotte on the 8th of May. Can't check their stock prices yet as they're not live.

I think I'll stick with am4 and use the extra funds to get a better monitor. Thank you for the build suggestions.
