Is my GPU Dying?

Icyra

Hey everyone i have weird problem, so starting last weekend i was playing games and all of the sudden my main monitor goes dark (still has power). i have 3 setup monitor. After swapping slots around 20 times some how i was able to turn it back on. Next morning everything was fine no issues . I come back from work on Monday and main monitor still doing weird staff goes black on and off around 1-2min some times doesn't even want to go back on i have to turn it off and on multiple times . i tried swapping cables it didn't work same problem , also tried my old 144hz monitor  that i know worked fine before switching to better one and have same problem. Other 2 monitors running without any problem just the main one . I know it is not a monitor because like i said even after switching monitors still doing same stink, it is not cable swapped it to multiple ones, also reinstalled windows to fresh still same issue. Could it be GPU? or maybe PSU i do not really know at this time what could cause this problem. Please help me before i spend 2k on new PC 🙂 My is GPU  4080 and just a quite note i been having this pc for around a year with no problem.

I dont BELIEVE the psu would cause this. Perhaps the video-out port(s) on the card is bungled.

That is what is was thinking at first but after switching ports other monitor work good and main is still going off and on like loosing signal but only happens on main for some reason.  it is super weird feels like i tried everything to find the problem and still cant figure it out. Also at end of the day tried to switching HZ in monitor and it kind of felt like when i kept this monitor on 60 hz it worked fine for like 10 min but had to go to work. I usually had this monitor at 240 hz now i cant go above 170 hz even when there is option windows doesn't want to apply my change evetime i try now. Monitor settings been not changed btw had id on 240hz for year.

So i would say a bogged gpu display port/ hdmi port. Perhaps a few pins are off

But that wouldnt be the case if this happens at intervals so that makes me want to say it's a windows issue.

Either one

Do you see any indication of a motherboard light or the gpu acting off, like the fans spinning very fast?

No i don't see GPU acting up at least i would hear gpu spinning faster, no motherboard lights temps at gpu are normal i think around 40c on idle.
