help needed nemo elevated root access fail ?

after a recent update i can no longer access root privileges vi nemo an also synaptic manager wont open

i also couldn't get to login with lightdm i had to reinstall vi recovery command line gdm3 an now i can be root issues remain

 

can someone help me with this

 

before the bug issue i was running xanmod 6.6.16 after the latest ubuntu updates an the xanmod to 6.7 the issues started

an even after the lightdm work around i when back to 6.6.16 but the root issues are still present.

If you have no way to elevate privilege then you need to boot using a maintenance disk, chroot into your OS's environment and set/reset the root password for further admin after a normal reboot, or fix your equivalent of sudoers, /etc/group etc before rebooting.
