ASUS Aura Sync app

Hello,

Since finishing my pc I always wondered if the ASUS Aura sync app is needed for my build or if I can just remove from my pc, I have a ROG STRIX X-570-F Gaming. At the moment the only thing I use the app for is to control the rgb connected to it, and the fans of the case and ram I manage them through Corsair iCUE app.

Can I uninstall the Aura Sync app and still control the rgb of the mobo thrgough iCUE or is Aura Sync essential for the mobo?

You can uninstall it because it is only a RGB controller. It is no driver or something.

So I can control the mobo's rgb through iCUE? thats all I care because I want to have them on a solid color, I don't like rainbow effect.

You can turn the RGB on a color and then deinstall it. That would work

I just did that and uninstalled the app, it works! Thanks alot mate!
