I just replaced my 1080 with an ASUS 3060 12GB and there is no video output to my displays.  My previous card had used a pigtailed PCIE cable to power both ports and my new card only needs one of the “tails” and I’m wondering if that may be causing my issues.  I followed the replacement manual and guides online so I think the install went properly and I’m just lost. Thanks for any help.

Just curious , do you get any output during bootup (BIOS)? or nothing at all , I would defiantly consider your power adapters.

1080 and 3060 use relatively the same wattage from what I have read - 10~ watts if not accounting for OC editions and such so I don't think its your psu not pushing enough power

whats the model # of the 3060 , is it two 4 pins / 2x 6 pin (unlikely)?

It immediately cuts straight to “no input” on my monitors.  The 3060 is a Dual-RTX3060-012G-V2.  The pin setup is 4x2.  I’ve included a photo to further elaborate.

I have a Asus ROG Strix GPU and didnt know if it had the same feature set where if it wasn't getting power theres a little led that would blink red if it was not getting power. have you tried the other 8 pin and gotten the same result , from the picture is that zip tied to the back of the video card?

I’ve tried both eights pins and I’m currently reverting back to the old card to narrow down the cause.  Getting kinda grim

Old card doesn’t work either

Have you checked the other end of your PSU , if its modular it could've come loose maybe try another PCIe 8x port or another adapter, we know your other video card works right so could be something before that point
