Will my gpu brake?

Don't use a garbage group regulated 600w Xilence with only one  6+2 pin connector for a 3070! The PSU is nowhere near a 600w unit. 400w at best.

I have bought a 3070 and try to make a build but some of the components will arrive in at least 2weeks from now. I thought maybe i put the 3070 in my current build (i5 9400f,mb b365m,16gbram,gtx1650,psu xilence 600w) but i find out that my current psu has only one 6+2 cable for gpu and the psu and isnt modular, i saw on the internet that it may lead to crashes by using only one which for me is not a problem, however also component damage is possible thing which is absolutely the last thing I want since i need to use the 3070 in the future and sell my current pc after i build the new one and im tight one the budget for any more expenses. And I also read that it could work just fine and thats why I am here , should i try to switch the new gpu in my old pc for the next 2 weeks or is too risky?can anyone that tried that answer please, any help much appreciated.

The 3070 needs all power connectors connected to work properly. Do not use only one 8 pin.
Wait for your parts.
