TINY10 windows install GPT disk

Hey guys, im trying to install TINY10 Windows on an old PC - i5 6600 / Radeon R9 280x DDR4 16GB / 1x 2TB HDD and 1x 124GB SSD 

 

I created a bootstick with the iso with rufus and i am in the install windows menu. However when i should be able to choose the drive to install windows to i get the error "the selected disk has an MBR partition table. On EFI systems, winows can only be installed to GPT disk." 

 

In rufus i tried both GPT and MBR installs but the same problem happens. I can only boot in UEFI since i cant find legacy mode anywhere in bios. 

 

Any ideas on how to install tiny10 here?

I don't think Rufus can change your boot drive to GPT. Rufus can only format the USB stick.

What the Windows installer is asking is that you convert your MBR boot drive to GPT format. This can be done within the Windows installer. I don't remember if you can do it automatically but you can certainly do it manually.

not sure if it will help but the instructions for convert an mr boot to gpt are on the page for this tool that i dont advertise or use myself. requires an installed win os

not sure if you can do this to the target machine https://www.easeus.com/partition-manager-software/convert-mbr-to-gpt-gpt-to-mbr-using-cmd-without-losing-data.html but it is a good start point 

also legacy mode is sometimes called CSM compatibility support mode. which wont work with a win 11 install

Just delete all partitions on the drive and let window installer recreate it automatically?
