Windows 11 Update Failed

Hi, im just trying to help my friend here because he cannot update his windows.


i told him to do the troubleshooting method, and it still didnt worked.


Tried going trough services and still didn't work, and, it does give us an error code : 1058


is there any more methods? thanks.

You can try setting the service startup type to "automatic" (per MS support page for error code 1058), and/or run "SFC /scannow" from an elevated Command Prompt to help fix errors automatically. If that doesn't work, I have attached a Windows update Reset script that may also help you. (I take no credit for this script; I'm just passing it along.)
