Other details

Hey guys so I already have a PC that I built on my own with the following specs:

-RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 3000 C16 1.33V

-Motherboard: Gigabyte H170-D3HP LGA 1151

-GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060

-CPU: Intel Core i7 7700k

I'm thinking about upgrading some components mainly to play the new Final Fantasy 7 games (Remake and Crisis Core), which I have not purchased since I believe they wouldn't run well on my current build.

I'm looking for 1080p 60fps performance on Medium settings or so since I don't have a 4K monitor or 120fps compatible.

I've been looking for GPU's that could run PS5 gen games on my PC but they cost nearly as much as a PS5, so I'm debating wether to upgrade my PC or just buy a PS5, so I would greatly appreciate y'all help to decide on which parts to upgrade first, or if it would make more sense to just buy a PS5.

Thank You!

I have attached a photo of all my specs

Sorry I forgot to mention that I have a 500GB SSD in which I keep the Window's 10 install and 4 HDD hard drives in which I keep my games. I'm also considering upgrading one of these HDD to SSD or NvME memory to store more demanding games on it

an Nvme drive and platform upgrade is all you can afford anyway.

PCPartPicker Part List

Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive  ($79.98 @ Amazon)

If you dont mind being out of commission for a bit, sell the 1060 and 7700K. That would net you enough money for a 5700XT/2060 class GPU. You will need to hunt down LGA 1700 upgrade bracket too.

Yes I do, about a 30min drive from where I live. That's where I bought my Motherboard last year.

Actually thats an amazing news. Get the 5600X3D combo instead. 230$, only about 10% gap to the 13600K.

Keep the 970 from before, that leave us with 190$ which is good enough money for a quick step up to 2070 super or even 2080 if you dont mind the fact that blower cards are the loudest thing in the world since anime fans screaming to you to watch Serial Experiments Lain.

If we do the GPU sales scenario we could get ourself a 6700XT instead of used 2080Ti. 550-650W range should be able to run it.
