From since I kept removing my keyboard and touchpad cable for nerdy and fixing problems reasons, they always are having some problems. For keyboard, it sometimes just registers some key presses very rapidly. Like for now, it just randomly starts registering 1s very rapidly and I try to stop it. For touchpad, it sometimes just doesn't work and is not seen by the OS. And then it just works afterwards. They both are probably fine, but their cables might have issues, as I seated them harshly, and I also lost some very small plastic blue covering for the cable end which probably wasn't very important, but I really want to fix this. So, can I replace the1 cables, or fix it? Also, my touchpad is trash, can I put in a better one?

PLEASE MARK COMMENTS AS SOLUTION IF SATISFIED!!

bigger number better, makes me look cooler.

if the ribbon cable is detachable on both side then yes you can fix it easily, if its not detachable like most then you have to do precise soldering.

technically if the connector is the same you can, but not sure about it. Also what makes your touchpad trash, my laptop touchpad is also trash before i got the driver installed and work amazingly when the windows precision driver installed.
