Ladies and gentlemen,

I will try to keep this short.

SETUP

Motherboard: Asus Sabertooth Z77

CPU: Intel Core i7 3770K (wasn't overclocked at the moment)

PSU: Corsair CX750M (Semi Modular)

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro H100i

RAM: Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 MHz 2*4GB (one of them I think is toasted)

My PC won't turn on, everytime I hit the power button the fans start spinning for a second and then the whole system immediatly shuts down.

This lasted for about five minutes and then when I hit the power button it will stay on, I was very happy for a very short time.

My PC stayed on, but I had no video output... I thought it might be the motherboard so I ordered another Z77 motherboard, still no video output.

I tried every possible cable, HDMI, DVI, VGA, no succes... I checked every cable on my PSU and MoBo, everything seems fine.

Can somebody please help me, I'm sort of dying in here using my "old" crappy notebook.

Note: I might consider a reward for the "Winning Tip"

Greetings from the Netherlands!

Turn on your pc only with the CPU and RAM installed, unplug all the other stuff,

If doesnt have video output, try with another memory, if the problem persist, the problem should be the CPU.

Also try with another PSU

That's what I've been doing all the time, I will try with other memory and/or PSU soon.

Else I will try to get an RMA on this one.

Can you test voltages with a tester on your PSU? Maybe it has enough power to keep things on at idle states, but as soon as it gets some load it starts failing. This will also tell you if theres maybe any PSU Cable damaged. Also try in different memory slots, and if possible with another ram, due to the fact that you think one of them is toasted. Dont forge to check for some damaged capacitors, if theres a problem with a capacitor you will notice that it will be 'bigger' or 'fatter' than the rest. Also I think this is the less probable but what about a faulty chip, maybe the integrated graphics on the processor is dead, you said that you tried two different mobos and you had the same result, any chance of testing with another CPU or maybe a dedicated GPU?
