Help, Gpu too tall

Go to solution Solved by Supersonicwolfe,

Loosen up the PCI-E slot screws, plug in DP and then tighten the screws

I need some help, i just bought a MSI RX 6800 GAMING Z TRIO, and found out that it's like 2mm too tall, so my Displayport cable cannot connect properly, and I don't dare to turn it on to try to see if it works. Any tips or maybe know what I did wrong to make it not fit? The case is NZXT h510. I had a RX 5700XT before, and I got no problem with that

Due to some loose tolerances, you should be able to shift the GPU a tiny bit downward to accommodate the output ports, and it's not gonna place a bunch of strain on the PCIe slot.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?
