can't get past boot screen

so i just updated the bios on a b550-a gaming mobo to one that would support 5000 series. but a 5700x on it and built the computer, but when it wont boot to windows.. it has a m.2 with windows 10 installed on it (removed from a different mobo and just threw in here?) looking for advice

im stupid i was able to boot from bios but still for some reason i have to press f1 go into bios go to boot then click my boot drive? why isnt it automatically selecting that drive?
