Budget (including currency): ~2100€

Country: Germany

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: A bit of everything. FPS Games, Simulators, AAA (Ray Tracing is nice but not a priority), Photo/Video editing, 3D modeling (Nothing super demanding)

Other details: My monitors are a combination of high refresh rate 1440p and 60hz 4k and my old pc is running a i7 6700k and a gtx980 and the only components I might want to take with me are two sata SSDs but they are low capacity so its not a big deal if they won't be included. An OS and peripherals don't need to be considered 🙂  I want to build a SFF system because I will move a lot in the next years and some of those moves might be international so I want something compact to save space in my apartment and to make moving easier. I came up with this build and I would appreciate any input!

for an SFF system a non x ryzen chip would be more suited as they are easier to cool

I would get this build

This has lower latency ram (important for AM5) and a 7600 non x as its easier to cool and doesn't lose much performance

Hi buddy,

The parts list looks pretty good but as filpo mentioned, it might be a tricky beast to cool.

Have you considered looking at different ITX sized cases? The Fractal Ridge is very thin so will limit your cooling options to low profile air coolers only.

SSUPD Meshlicious

TT Tower 100

Fractal Torrent Nano

Just 3 other options (above) that might be better suited given they can all accommodate beefier air coolers / aio's / custom loops AND fit full atx PSUs.

I have a SFF build in a Tower 100 and love it. Very versatile for a small case with little to no visible cable / tube mess.

The Ridge case does not accomodate coolers able to easily deal with even low-end desktop CPU. Consider a slightly larger case.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
