Valorant Tripping Hard

I live in a more rural area & my only sensible ISP option for ethernet is special to say the least. The first plan I used from them resulted in very high latency despite the game thinking I was at 40-50ms; I'm aware of prefire & swing advantage, but for example I would die instantly from people wide swinging several meters without strafing, or spraying a stationary enemy from 10m would do absolutely nothing. My ping would also randomly double every few hours & occasionally become stronger a thousand miles away from my closest server. My only option to improve anything was a higher bandwidth plan, so I made the upgrade & those issues have all gone away while a new one has appeared. The servers register my shots far better now, but client-side paths on shots now look completely random even when there is 0 possibility of movement error. Anyone have a clue what the hell could be causing stuff like this with a fully modern setup?
