Hello. So i have a question, i want to build a new pc, but the RTX 40 Series cards are so expensive at the moment. Right now i have 3060 Ti, im thinking about pairing it with i7-13700K for 1080p. My question here is that will the i7-13700K bottleneck with 3060 Ti? I really don't want to buy another cpu for 40 Series card when i'm buying the new card.

if the 13700k won't bottleneck a 4070 ti at 1080p it won't bottleneck a 3060 ti

i.e. you'll be fine, if anything it'll be more of a gpu bottleneck

40 series is expensive but 7900xt anyone and no the i7-13700K wont bottle neck the thing but also you might want to go AM5 for the longevity of the socket and newer standereds

I hit 700W on an i5 with a NHD15

Also I'm 14 so please just confirm anything I say with someone more experienced

I don't subscribe to the notion that a GPU can bottleneck a CPU in a gaming PC. Your goal really is to maximize the performance of your GPU, in this case a 3060ti, which is a more than capable card in 2023. The 13700k will just unlock the full potential of a 3060ti, especially at 1080p, so any limitations in framerate you may run into are likely GPU bound at that point.

At some point if you want more performance and the GPU prices are better, you won't run into any major limitations for whatever card that might be with a 13700k.

At any point will you have a CPU or GPU limitation in a game, there's nothing wrong with it primarily being a GPU bound scenario, and really its the goal.
