Looks like that doesn't have a macro for disabling the windows key.

I would personally use Auto HotKey but that could run into complications with some games and anti-cheat detections. That said, if its a pop up in the middle of the screen there is nothing you can do to stop those, only system messages that pop up in the lower right above the system tray.

So I upgraded to an acually good mechanical keyboard recently from a mass market one. Anyways the one thing I do legitimately miss is the "game mode" option which disabled the windows key. I found this program. WinKill (https://m.majorgeeks.com/files/details/winkill.html)

and I have it set as a startup program. It works fine because i can switch it on and off at will from the taskbar. However I was wondering how to possibly get rid of the message windows gives me when i restart my pc. It still runs fine but the .rll file which I need to put in the startup folder or the program wont work, gives a window saying i can't run a rll file because its needed by the OS, Which is fine, doesn't cause any issues to my knowledge and I can just click away on the desktop and it fixes it. But just wondering if there is a fix or if there is a better solution for my windows key needs.

What Mechanical Keyboard did you buy? Most have macros built in to lock the windows key and such.
