This is what I was thinking for a upgrade. What would you change?

Ram is the one thing I don't have the best knowledge with. RGB would be nice LOL.

Well you put all costliest parts possible

That'll work but the cooling won't be that good you rather should get a 360 AIO...

And if you're gaming you'd be left richer with a 13700k or 7800x3D, cheaper RAM and SSD...

@gingerVSpie the cpu that you have chosen runs hot due to all the e-cores it comes with and those e-cores don't help much in regards to gaming. Try these changes .. low profile RAM so that it doesn't impede the cpu cooler.

The Vengeance RGB kit is on the motherboard memory QVL. But the modules are 56mm tall which is sub optimal combined with an NH-D15. In fact any sort of RGB memory strikes me as pointless with a cooler that overhangs most of the memory area.

 

As previously suggested, consider a 360 (or 420) AIO. Not only will the CPU run cooler and quieter, the memory bling will be well displayed. If you want AIO suggestions, specify the case.
