Hi, so I just bought a new pc and it worked great.

But then i got the last shippment of fans and such and when connected the rgb on the AIO did not respond, it was just flickering white.

I then removed some fans from a-rgb and it all works again. Seems it is too much rgb.

I have 11 be quiet light wings (3 x 140mm) Mobo asus rog strix 550-f gaming (rgb logo)

Aio msi mag coreliquid

Phanteks NV7 Case with 2 rgb strips built in
Corsair rgb ram

1 be quiet a-rgb controller/splitter with sata power.
Phanteks inbuilt rgb controller with 2 sata.

Before i had 5 6 fans, case, aio daisy chained together into the mobo directly and it worked. But now i have a controller, but it doesnt work.

Since phanteks has its own plug i cannot use the built in controller for the fans and thus it only powers the case rgb, and then the be quiet controller powers everything else. The other parts are daisychained to fit into the 4 ports i have availible on the controller. (The phanteks controller is also daisychained to the other fans get its instructions from the mobo.)

Do you think that i am overloading the argb header? I have some adapters to be able to use the phanteks hub on the way, do you think pluging some fans into that would solve it or do i need to buy another controller?

too many LEDS for the motherboard, individualy connect them to the rgb controller and one to motherboard

So the controller takes the only argb header on the mobo, and everything else is connected to the controller already.

did it come with a usb connector? if not then its not a controller but a splitter
u can get a usb argb controller and it works better imo, u can control each fans rgb individualy too

Its just a splitter then, but I dont need to control them individually i just want them all to work at once atm. And to me the sata should be enough to power most of the leds.

to be sure i suggest getting a usb controller
1x motherboard port can handle about 200 leds from my experience
each one of those fans has 20 leds

so one motherboard slot cant handle it

get the zalman zsync, holds up to 8 fans but the fps is meh (11), if u wanna go to expensive route, go with the rgb controller from razer, 6 slots and can hold 80 leds per slot (40 fps), both are usb led and controlled
if youd like to have cool effects, get Signalrgb, its a free softwar for full control, even if you dont want to do it individualy, its quite sick to have bascicaly a moving gif all over your rgb, all working together, see this
