KVM Keyboard and mouse issue

Hey everyone

 

I have a Dell XPS 8940 that I use with a IO Gear GCS32HU KVM switch. I switch between my laptop and desktop. the monitor switches flawlessly but whenever I switch back to my Dell desktop, my desktop  take more than 30 seconds to detect my  keyboard and mouse. I have no issue when I switch to my laptop.

 

I use a Logitech G413SE keyboard and a G502 Hero mouse.

 

Any suggestion?

The KVM switch is a hub-class KVM switch.    It does not and can not provide shared HID devices (keyboard, mouse ..etc.) emulation and feed to both connected systems of the KVM switch. 

 

Replacing a DDM-class KVM switch will solve the issues with no latency switching for HID devices to all connected systems.
