MW2 Benchmarke

I've recently did a benchmark in mw2 and I was wondering if this score is good, if not, how can I improve it?

Well, those results are slightly useless cause your running the game/benchmark at the wrong resolution. Turn it up to 1080p to match the resolution of the monitor and rerun the benchmark.

 

Given that your monitor only supports 60 hz (at least according to that picture): if your average fps (or better yet the low 1st) is above 60 hz when you rerun it, then it’s good enough for your monitor.

 

what hardware are you running?

 

other suggestions: use print screen instead of taking a photo of hour monitor. Makes it much easier to convey all the information we need.

RAM: G.Skill Trident z 32gb 288 pin sdram

GPU: MSI radeon 6700 xt 12gb

CPU: Intel core I5-11400

Storage: 970 samsung ssd 1tb

 

I don't know if their will be any bottlenecks neither in this system, since it's a custom build.

It's a decent system.  Run at 1080p as above.

 

Looks like you have a locked refresh rate on your monitor if I am reading that right?  If so, that's your problem, not the PC.

 

Though if you get a better monitor, you can then slot in a new CPU as I think those games are more heavily CPU intensive than GPU.    The 11400 is an okay chip but it's not on par with that 6700XT.

This is what my monitor is running as. I would like to have a MSI monitor, but I don't know which monitor would be right for me.

 

Also, I was thinking of upgrading the CPU to I7, either way, I haven't decided which one thought. Which CPU would you recommend for this build?

Why an MSI monitor?  What's special about them?  Any 27 inch 1440p would be a great upgrade IMO.

 

Drop in the 11600k or 11700k , depending on price.  Will be a more balanced machine.
