Budget (including currency): $2000-$2500 USD

Country: USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Valorant Minecraft warthunder War robots and streaming + recording

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I have a 144hz 1080p and a 60hz 1080P and alr have peripherals

I have made a few revisions on my build and this is what I have come up with

any places where I could save money without sacrificing performance/ aesthetic?

Here is the list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QBL7Ls

here is what i was considering before: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hdWHH2

The reason i switched from amd to intel was the Motherboard, i feel like the jump from b650 to z690 (obv diff platforms so hard to compare) was probably worth it (even tho it added $70) PLUS i got an extra 6 cores at the cost of only .3 ghz boost clock and an additional 4 threads for a slightly cheaper price (not really tho as mentioned i will be spending the additional $70 on the mobo.

Now on to the GPU

I have listed the RTX 4070ti as it it felt like the only good option at that price range + i personally like NVIDIA  but then i saw that the RX 7900 XT was literally the same price but +10% performance (about) And i could get the gaming X trio variant at the same price (personally think it looks way better) while if i went with the RTX 4070Ti i would only be able to get the MSI ventus vers so I wouldn't be adding an extra $50.
But then there's the question of benefits of pairing a AMD GPU with an AMD CPU i have heard that the benefit is essentially more performance per watt and SAM, i have not done a ton of research on benefits so please correct me if I'm wrong.
as of right now I would prob just go with the rx 7900xt and the i5 13600k unless there is a large performance increase in using a full amd build.

anyway thanks for reading this wall of text and all comments are appreciated 🙂

There are none that I'm aware of.

Something like this could be considered. Most of the money saving comes from the fans, since the lian li fans are good, but you can get a white lian li case with the fans included to cut the costs a bit.

The board is also changed to a very solid white board + an extra tb of storage

Resizable BAR still exists between AMD GPU and Intel CPU, its just SAM being more optimized thanks to vertical integration.

If you do want to try out SAM, i recommend you to wait up for 7800X3D, which would slot in perfectly. 7900X3D is available now but it would push the value off the mark when your games wont really run on more than 6 cores especially War Thunder. Dagor LOVES high IPC CPUs instead of more core and fast memory interconnections.
