Mainboard led gets stuck

I build my PC 3 Months ago and everything was fine but when i changed the GPU a month ago the Mainboard led gets stuck on VGA this happens 1-2 times a week and after a reboot it goes away. When the led is stuck the PC still Functions and you can't even tell it's on.

I don't think it's normal and please help if you know a solution.

Which motherboard? Asus?

After i change a bios setting the white led stays lit next boot but the pc boots as normal with no issues and dissapears next boot.

Not the same issue or same led but suggests that the motherboard is seeing the new gpu over and over every few weeks.

Did you clear CMOS after changing gpu?

Gigabyte Mainboard and i updated the bios which technicaly also resets the bios.

Also maybe it is important but i switched from amd to Nvidia
