title says it all really as people try to offers solutions and help to others that encounter a problem or want answers to a question.

too often i see a post asking for help but it turns into the party game 20 questions?

if you have an issue with a pc laptop whatever ..

please list ssystem specs and try to let us know what you have already attempted.

The more and the clearer the information is the faster people that understand the issue could give you a correct solution instead of the back and forth..

So often I read posts that simply state

 

"tried that already and it did not help"

 

Not a problem but if the person that replied to you was aware that you had tried something already they would not ask you to do something you had already attempted.
