I Just installed a vertical GPU mount for my 3060, and I had to re-arrange my CPU cooling pump to get the tubes out of the way, but now the pc freezes while it’s booting.

I also want to add that the GPU was overclocked, but I managed to get the pc running in safe mode and then deinstalled msi afterburner, sadly it still freezes.

what in the chatgpt is that response bent... delete that nonsense.

as for OP, the issue could lie with the riser cable. if that was the main change made to the system. Can you put the GPU back into place without the riser without a ton of work? Does your mobo have any LED's or a screen to give you an indication as to whats holding it up on boot?

edit: the PC is booting in safe mode? but otherwise won't boot? my brain finally just connected those dots and i honestly have no idea how adding a riser cable could do that. hopefully someone else can chime in an idea 😞
