steam hating me

steam games i try and run crash and i know its not drivers i verify the files and there is always corrupted  files idk what is causing this

What games you have this issue. You are using some antivirus.

games like RDR2 i go to play the game crashes and says files are corrupted

Do you have any antivirus. Did you installed Rockstar launcher (it usually auto installs).

i dont have a anti virus and yes i have rockstar launcher

Is all of your games in the same Disk or you have multiple disks and only games on one disk is showing the issue.

 

You can try reinstalling the steam launcher and may it fix it add the  location you can use older downloads with steam so you dont have to redowload all of your games.

 

You can also try wiping the Disply driver with DDu and doing a fresh install

Are you using older graphics hardware? I have this issue with some games on my laptop that just simply don't support its 10 year old integrated GPU

no just upgraded to a 3060 and installed drivers

I am having the same issue with steam. I just built a brand new pc. It has a 13700k and a 3080 12 gb. I have no idea what is going on. Another problem I have been having is steam always crashes in a map in dirt rally 2.0 in one location. Do any of you have any idea what might be causing this?
