Corsair H100i

this is probably a noob question but can the H100i be installed with the rad below the cpu block and still run efficently with 'pull' fan setup??

Yeah, you can put the rad wherever you can fit it as long as you have enough airflow through it.

i suppose my main question should have been, will this cause cavitation in the block?

i don't think so because the system is completely filled at the factory, meaning no air spaces and I don't think corsair has said anything about this being a problem.
