Hi everybody, so I am running into this issue were I want to update my latest driver update for my Nvidia gpu on my laptop (Surface Book 2) and the driver download fine on Geforce Experience. However, once it is done installing and says that the install is complete and I exit out of the overview page. GeForce Experience still tells me that I need to update my driver, when I click on "check for updates" button on the page it does say I have the latest driver but instead tells me I need to update the same update again. I have tried going and downloading the update off their website and still does the same thing. My computer does not recognize my gpu anymore and is just always using my lower end one (my laptop has two gpus one intel and one nvidia). I try booting up Rainbow Six Siege and the game also runs on the intel gpu. If anyone have any advice it would be much appreciated, I read that I should try uninstalling all my driver updates and reinstalling it like that using a Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU), however, I don't know which one can be reliable, so if anyone can help me out with this too it would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Follow the recommendation that you have listed of running DDU and then reinstalling the most up to date driver. This should fix your issue but you will have to let us know so we can further help. Please also provide us with your exact model of laptop for further insight.

Did you reboot after installing the updated driver, because until you do it's running on the old driver that's still in memory.

I find it best that you shut down and reboot instead of a restart to make sure that the new drivers will be used.

Yup, neither of these worked, I also tried installing it with "custom installation" on the GeForce Experience app and it looks like a already have the latest drive update its just both Nvidia and my computer aren't recognizing them and making my nvidia gpu disappear. Here what it looks like when I do "custom installation". Also these are my specs the ones circled in red.

So I did some searching in my computer and noticed that in my device manager and the location where the nvidia gpu is located at it has a warning sign and upon opening the properties tab of the gpu I get this under device status "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)" does anyone know how I could resolve this?
