Do XBOX Series S support 4K output ?

Mickaaa

Hey!

I'm about to buy an XBOX Series for a friend but the only display she have is a 4K one.

The question is: do the S console support 4K output ? and by ''output'' i mean the signal send to the display on the XBOX menu, not the rendering resolution of the games.

Because, wherever i searched for answer, peoples always misinterpret output and rendering by saying ''Omg, u're f***ing dumb, XSS barely do 900p in ''that'' game, go buy an RTX 4090'' -_-

She don't care at which resolution each games run at but regurlarly watch shows and movies in 4K, so 4K output is preferable.

Thanks.
