Hi all. When playing Warzone 2.0 my GPU utilization is stuck at between 45-60%, drawing less than 200 watts, and FPS won't go above ~145 and average is probably around 120-130fps. I'm playing at 3440x1440 and I get essentially the same results if I switch to 4K.

My PC specs are:

10900K OC all core @ 5.1ghz

RTX 4090

32GB 3200mhz DDR4 Memory

Windows 11 - Fully up-to-date

Gigabit internet up/down

Game settings are basically on max and I have DLSS on Quality, although it seems no different with DLSS on or off. I've tried using DDU to completely re-move and re-install the driver to no avail.

I read people are saying their 4090s are CPU bottle necked, but this severe on a 2 year old former top of the line CPU?

Hoping someone has some ideas. Thanks!

The game's optimization is not that great, and 10900K is slightly below 12600K now, single core performance it is much slower than 12600K. Games could only use so many cores, all 10 cores 10900k won't be fully used, which is why you're most likely CPU bottlenecked.

I'd try several other CPU intensive games to confirm this, maybe Spider-man Remastered or CP2077.

Occassionaly visits the forum when I have nothing to do at work.
