Upgrading router antennas

So I have an ASUS RT-AC66R & i was wondering if there are any good upgrades antenna wise for this thing. I'm looking to get a wider range on both 2.4/5 GHz, without taking a huge hit with my speed. Is what I want to achieve even possible? If so, please lead me in the right direction and if not just say so. Either way, thanks for the help.

You need it incress the output power if you add large antenne which can only be done if you flashing a third party firmware on to the router. To learn more output power and gain I'd read this page. http://www.hamuniverse.com/kj6rzpowergaincoax.html
