So a few months ago I bought a 2nd gen nexus 7 and ever since I updated to kitkat every once in a while the bottom right of the screen will quit registering inputs..its not a big problem because its rare and all I have to do is reset it and it stops but has anyone else had this problem?

Ah! The multi-touch bug has found another victim! (Or... I think) However this may just be a hardware problem from maybe too much pressure on that one section?

If it is a multi-touch issue, you can try fixing it with some ADB commands (and an unlocked bootloader). If you have no idea what ADB commands are... I recommend you learn them, they are useful to know when trying to fix a lot of Android problems. There are tutorials everywhere, so you can just look around [on the XDA Developers Forums, etc.].

For the multi-touch issue, there is a potential fix (if it is the multi-touch bug experienced in many Nexus 7 v2 devices). The thread for the fix can be found here (the link is a quick debriefing, but the thread link is in the paragraphs). However, if this doesn't work, make sure to wipe the device and relock the bootloader and then return the device under the manufacturer's warranty. But, keep in mind, this is sort of "last resort." (I had to do this with my device and it is currently getting repairs... Asus customer service is excellent, just saying).

I hope this kinda helped you... I apologize in advance if it doesn't...

(Side note: You can do a little research on the "multi-touch bug" if you want to. Just Google "nexus 7 multi touch bug" and a few results should pop up, including the link I put.)

PLEASE QUOTE ME WHEN YOU REPLY TO MY POSTS, thank you.
