So recently finished building a pcspecs below

Mobo: b550 aorus pro ac

Gpu: 3080 gigabyte

Cpu: ryzen 7 5800x

Ram:2x16 corsair lpx 3600mhz cl18

Drive: samsung evo 980 plus m.2

Samsung evo 2.5' both 1tb

Os: windows 10.

Cooler: cooler maste ml240

So my issue is whenever i download a big download anything over 10gbs there will be a chance that my computer freeze , nobsod happens but is just frozen mouse dont move nothing, sometimes i can still hear my youtube videos.

I tried replaying various scenarios,

downloading maplestory and doing something else= froze

Downloading fall guys only froze

Download various videos adding up around 20gbs froze

Play tft while a download in the background,  froze.

Download on both ssds at the same time froze

Download only on my m.2 froze

Download only on my 2.5' =havent tried

Play lostark and tft at the same time fine

So everything works fine unless i download for a long time, short downloads are fine but prolong download time and size will 100% freeze my computer.

Ran crystal disk, seagate tool and all said my disks are fine.

Temps in everything stays around ~51c

So any ideas or helps please everything is new, comluter dont have even 1 month of usage

Run benchmark software such as cinebench, pcmark, furmark etc. for atleast 30 minutes to see which component fails on you. Make sure your power supply is good for running Ryzen 7 and a 3080.

If your pc is booting into windows, then it's doing fine. Freezing could be caused by unstable oc, inadequate power supply or temperature etc. Worst case scenario, faulty components.

bought?

cinebench R23 - you get it for free (CPU test)

furmark - GPU test for free

pcmark - not sure should be a free version on steam

prime95 = CPU and Ram stability test ( I Prefer over Cinebench)

you should run cinebenchR23 and check if you get a "normal" score

So i passed cinebench. I dont belive is a cpu nor cpu issue, ram unsure but comment about paging, i just set it up will test soon, but any other thoughts of why this would happen only when downloading big amount of data?

it Helps to figure out if your CPU is running ok

while downloading have you checked your RAM usage?
