Speakers not Working

When I try to output audio from my speakers, the audio is very distorted, muffled and sounds like static. Can I fix the speakers or do I just need to buy new ones.

Laptop speakers?

Computer desktop speakers?

Is the computer maxed out? Overdriving the speakers? Have you tried hooking another source up to them? like a phone, other computer, etc. Is there physical damage to the drivers?

wdym by maxed out or overdriving and also there is no physical damage

the computer is turned all the way up but the speaker isnt

that shouldn't be an issue as previously, my speaker was fine at 100%

Have you tried with another device? Made sure it’s the speaker and not the output of the computer? Might have just blown out the speakers from use.
