Laptop Recommendations

It's easier just to bullet point what I'm looking for, I would appreciate multiple recommendations.

• My budget is between 1000-2000 GBP.
• I'll be carrying it so I'd prefer it to be lighter. Pref <=2kg
• I'd like to be able to run some VR titles on the go.
• 15.6 Inch Display
• Built quality isn't a concern, but the keyboard is.. It's subjective but I do like the Dell XPS keyboards.

I happen to be looking for a gaming laptop as well, missed the sale on the Asus ROG G15 Advantage Edition (was abou 1700CAD, now backvto about 2000CAD).

 

Thinking of an MSI Pulse GL66 or a Lenovo Legion 5/5 Pro. Looking at laptops with at least a Ryzen 5800H or i7 11800H and RTX 3060/3070.

Have you considered the Intel NUC whitebox laptops?  1600CAD for 17-11800H, 3070, and a mechanical keyboard to boot.

Nah, I need it to be really portable, so a laptop with a good AMD Ryzen or Intel CPU with an RTX 3070/6800M would be ideal for me. I'd be taking it to Canada and Thailand, a NUC Whitebox may be a little troublesome as I might be taxed by customs, especially in Thailand.
