Previous rumors suggested Lovelace would be a simple Ampere refresh, but speculation is that Nvidia is concerned that RDNA 3 may be too good

But kopite says they’re “disappointed with RDNA3”

A few weeks back we were seeing rumors that AMD’s “Phoenix” APUs with RDNA 3 could be as powerful as an Xbox Series S / RTX 3060M

But then AMD published roadmap showing Phoenix as LESS powerful than Dragon Range, which will power “extreme gaming laptops”

Impact on market? Crypto is crashing, GPU mining is getting less popular, we may be about to see massive stock of used GPUs dumped into the market

And what about Intel? Will their mid-range desktop cards arrive too late to compete with Nvidia?

Remember, Arc GPUs are “officially” launched… mobile-only, in Korea only

https://www.kitguru.net/components/graphic-cards/joao-silva/first-intel-arc-laptops-appear-to-be-launching-in-south-korea/

May see desktop GPUs revealed next week at Computex, going to launch in China and THEN globally in what, the fall??

New interview with Intel GPU exec, he says they’re taking a “completely different approach” than Nvidia/AMD and  “this is the year” ok buddy

i can't really care too much for Nvidia right now but i'd glad that their new products can push the Technology further every generation. AMD is doing it on Integrated graphics and that's more interesting. can't wait ti upgrade to a cheaper laptop and have amazing perfomance WITHOUT a Dedicated GPU.
