Hi, currently traveling for work and living in an Camper, I have a pretty good PC that I use for gaming/work in our bedroom, but due to our kids needing to take naps in the only quiet place I'm uprooted from my "Desk" area. Looking for some suggestions on Having my One PC setup normally in the Desk area and running probably ~40-50ft of wire to some sort of dock to run a 2nd monitor and mouse/keyboard

Currently running 4k 60hz monitor off a 3080.

TLDR: Needing suggestions for a Hub/Dock and corresponding cable up to 50ft that would be durable enough to be stuck inside the underbelly of a rolling tornado.

50' thunderbolt cables and the associated dock(around $700ish) are getting very close to buying a laptop in terms of cost. The "durability" part is also kind of a concern. Fiber cable can be a bit finicky.

Could you get away with just having a laptop?

A laptop might even be a boon if you're at all worried about power draw when on the road.

Yeah the more I've looked into this the more frustrating it is, I've been looking at hdmi Over cat6 then having to consider getting a usb receiver to work over about 20ft without too much latency . Seems like a laptop is gonna be the better option.
