Hello,

i'm a bit desperate as I looked every where for someone who had the same issue as i have.

Since a couple of days, there is one red led on my gpu. there is only one and it is not flashing and the computer is working fine. so i read it was the power connector not receiving power. i use a cable which separate into two cables to plug my gpu (it has 3 power connectors).

i also read that these separating cables were not optimal as they do not deliver as much power as 2 separated cables. so i tried to change the cables order on my gpu but the led stays on the same power connector, and i finally tried with 3 different cables and stil have the same problem.

so i guess my power connector is dead. but i've been using this gpu for only 2 months. and i was not touching the cables or anything, it just appeared like that.

i took my gpu to a store where they benched my gpu and it seems that everything is working fine for them.

the thing that i noticed is that, the evening the red light appeared, i've updated my gpu drivers (Nvidia 512.59) just before. i read that updating drivers could cause these leds to bug but it is always all the leds bugging, not only one, i can't find someone on the internet who had the same problem, with  the updated drivers a few days ago, or in the past.

please tell me you've got the same problem since this update, i don't want to send my gpu in warranty.

ty for reading and for help.

I'm using an Asus ROG Strix RTX 3070ti,

the psu is the Asus ROG Thor 850W Platinum... I can send the all config if needed
