Problem with lag with ps4 controller

I've been trying to play games on my android devices for a while now with my PS4 controller. I've only tried with budged devices so far so I'm not sure if this is part of the problem.

I've first tried with my Pocophone (yes I know its an old one) and recently with my Xiaomi Pad 5, and the problem remains the same. I've tried going into developer options and change the BT options, I've also tried Bluetooth Auto Connect App and it improved slightly, but the problem still remains.

Is there a solution for this? What is the problem? Is it my controller? Is the problem with my android devices?

Small note. The PS4 controller works perfectly on my windows PC be it wired or wireless through a 5.1 BT dongle.
