Headphone microphone doesn't work

Hey guy i bought a new pc and whenever i plug my headphones in it it works but the microphone doesn't work

This headphone only has 1 3.5 

Is it possible to make it work by updating drivers 

If yes pls relpy with a link where i can update my driver my mother board is b350 tomahawk (would be better if you can give me a link which can update all my drivers) an thank you

What headphones?? 

 

Go to audio settings and see if you can change the input to the headphone microphone

You will need a splitter to split out the sound from the microphone. The motherboard doesn't have a combo port for the 1 x 3.5mm and has separate connectors for the microphone and speaker.

You need a splitter like so to make the mic works.
